CAMPUS 2 CAMPUS

Establishing communities of disciples among all nations by reaching university students worldwide.

 

OUR PURPOSE:

To facilitate the development of strategic relationships between IMB personnel and Southern Baptist collegiate ministers to bring the world's 60-90 million college students to saving faith in Jesus Christ.

 

STRATEGY AND DESIGN

 

PRAYER:

Frequent prayer highlights of world campuses as submitted by IMB personnel.  Highlighted prayer focus campuses will appear on www.campus2campus.org.  Leaders and students will pray individually for campuses, participate in on site prayer walks, and adopt campuses for prayer.

 

MOBILIZATION:

Exchange

Includes mission trips (semester, summer, spring break, Christmas, etc.) to the strategic campus for specific assignments; includes exchange of students to/from different campuses. Includes students studying abroad

 

E-Friends

Connects Christian students with non-Christian students on international campuses (or international students on US campuses via email pen-pal network.  Christian students will be trained in e-friend strategy and method.

 

International Students

Connects students, leaders and IMB personnel to populations of international students on campuses throughout the world including the US.  Identifies populations of international students and provides strategic links to personnel with same people group focus.

 

Adoption

Stateside student (or other) groups will adopt an international campus for long-term relationship coordinated by IMB personnel. Adoption strategy will include prayer and mobilization.

 

ADVOCACY:

Intentional recruitment of collegiate ministers committed to being an advocacy team for IMB personnel working in a focused strategy to reach college students.  IMB personnel and collegiate minister advocacy teams will work together on development of strategy and design for a long-term focus on the field personnel's local ministry to college students.
